Made in October and handled in December? Is that accurate?

Was 14 year old a student at Wilson Hall?

Kids make stupid choices because they are kids. Doesn’t matter what school they go to or what their last name is. Doesn’t matter if they are 6’ tall or look grown up. They can’t see the long game because they are kids. Granted, some children have issues that they need help dealing with, but let’s work on getting them the help they need while, simultaneously, protecting those around them and holding them accountable in an age appropriate way for their choices. Lord, protect these babies and teach us to teach them.

What’s not said in this press release is that this child was coached into this by an adult on the internet, who was pretending to be a child. That person has also been arrested. Children do not need to have access to a phone with the internet. It is destroying our society, starting with the most vulnerable.

Teach kids they will get caught

Sounds about white

NOT WILSON HALL‼️

CALEA Accredited

Being a Police Officer in a CALEA Accredited Department means you belong to an agency that is committed to following best practice standards developed by federal, state, and local law enforcement executives through comprehensive research. This is one of the most successful methods for reaching administrative and operational goals, while also providing direction to personnel.

The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) was created in 1979 as a credentialing authority through the joint efforts of law enforcement’s major executive associations:

  • International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP)
  • National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE)
  • National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA)
  • Police Executive Research Forum (PERF)

SPECIFICALLY, CALEA’S GOALS ARE TO:

  • Strengthen crime prevention and control capabilities
  • Formalize essential management procedures
  • Establish fair and nondiscriminatory personnel practices
  • Improve service delivery
  • Solidify interagency cooperation and coordination
  • Increase community and staff confidence in the agency
